Battles between the Government Forces and the Renegade Forces take place on several maps.

On every front and in every direction, wherever soldiers advance, they encounter resistance from small and large Renegade groups alike. Despite this, some regular army units have managed to reach the largest port in New Jersey state.

Atlanta is a major city located at a crossroads of key routes along the East Coast — which led to its rapid downfall during the outbreak. However, when the military entered the city, they immediately encountered signs of life: the Renegades were already there.
Red Zone, USA, 1998.
Fort Redwood was a forward military encampment established to assist with civilian evacuations in the Red Zone. After the order to withdraw, the fort was abandoned — and has since been taken over by the Renegades. The soldiers aren’t willing to let that stand.

The abandoned sawmill district was once intended by government forces to serve as an observation or forward operating post — but something went wrong. Now, they’re forced to fight the Renegades for control of the area.

The half-flooded swampy terrain is perfect for a hidden shelter or an outpost. The military thought so too when they established a strongpoint here. After their evacuation, the renegades picked up the same idea.

At the start of the outbreak, a small National Guard detachment entered this otherwise unremarkable village to begin evacuations, gradually fortifying their positions. But they were too late — a wave of infected forced them to retreat. Now the Renegades hold the village, and they are not planning to retreat at all.

A small town where FEMA had established several evacuation camps, helping save most of the local population. Now, those same camps have become fortified outposts held by the Renegades — and they're standing their ground against the advancing government forces.

Once, the military planned to build a solid defensive line in this area—walls were raised, watchtowers constructed. But it didn’t work out. When the soldiers finally returned, they found their own fortifications, and the city itself—had become a perfect stronghold for the Renegades.

The battles between the Governmert Forces and the Renegade Forces take place across several game modes:
Capture the Flag:
Two teams fight for control over key points on the map. Holding all — or the majority — of these points generates victory points.
The first team to reach the required number of points wins.
Domination:
A brutal, all-out fight to the death. Killing enemy forces provides the points needed to win.
The match is won either by reaching the required score or by capturing the enemy’s command point.
Last Stand:
The enemy is advancing and outnumbers you many times over. Only one position remains under your control in this sector.
It must become your stronghold. Fortify your defenses and hold the line for as long as you can.
A defining feature of all maps and game modes (Exept Last Stand):
In addition to your main opponent from the rival faction, you’ll also be facing the infected — who will appear in growing numbers as
the match progresses.
