The pharmaceutical corporation Gentek has worked closely with the US government in several areas - medically, by manufacturing pharmaceutical products, military, by providing the US Army with instructors from the elite PMC "Blackwatch", and also in research, by studying and even creating dangerous chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction.

Of course, the corporation had a contingency plan in case things didn't go according to plan.

Gentek had its own security, which was loyal to its superiors, and also had a contract with one of the strongest PMCs in the USA. When Panamanian bioterrorists attacked the Gentec complex, killing all the guards, a squad of the PMC "BlackWatch " was sent to the complex, which destroyed the corporation's data, having previously transferred it to an encrypted data file, and also grabbed a sample of the virus. However, neither they nor the PMC could hide the facts of Gentec's guilt. The consequences of the mistake of some and the attack of others led to the almost complete destruction of life on the east coast.
