This mode is designed for first- or third-person gameplay — a feature supported by the Gates of Hell engine.
Players face off in an arena-style battle, choosing between two opposing sides: red or blue.
The main objective is to capture and hold key points on the map. This mode is not connected to the main storyline of the Dawn of the Dead mod. Its purpose is to offer players a fresh and different gameplay experience outside the traditional format.
The blue team represents a police tactical unit.
Their SMG gunners wear padded anti-riot vests, ballcaps, and active hearing protection. They're highly mobile but vulnerable to sustained fire. Riflemen are equipped with ballistic vests and helmets with active hearing protection — forming the core combat unit capable of handling most threats. Machine gunners wear reinforced body armor with additional shoulder protection, and use helmets fitted with fragmentation goggles and active headsets, giving them both resilience and suppressive firepower.
