Goatlanndia's economy is a mixed-market which is neither completely capitalist nor socialist, and we encourage globalisation and free trade.

We have a predominately service-based economy.

Our HDI is 0.842, which places us in the "Very High Human Development" section, and near Portugal and the United Arab Emirates.

Our IDHI is 0.749.

Our official currency is the New Goatlanndic Dollar, which has the same exchange rate as the New Taiwan Dollar (roughly USD * 30). However, unofficial currency is used in different regions depending on the local customs of those areas, and material trade is also used.

On each dollar bill, there is a picture of Mt. Huron in the middle, the Goatlanndic Coat of Arms in the upper left corner, Appenzell Goats in the lower left corner, rosemary in the upper right corner, and a tree swallow in the lower right corner. In the centre, the value of the bill in dollars is listed on top of an Illuminati symbol, and everything is in grey scale.
