The Death Troopers are a highly specialized and elite battalion within the Imperial Army. They are known for their unwavering loyalty to the Emperor and their ability to carry out any order given to them without question. They are often assigned to protect VIPs and complete high-priority objectives.
Although the Imperial Security Bureau (ISB) personnel do not interact with the Death Trooper battalion on a regular basis, there may be occasions when the two groups must work together. In these situations, ISB personnel may be in regular contact with Death Troopers.
In accordance with the Imperial Security Bureau Handbook, any Junior Agent or higher-ranking officer may request Death Troopers to assist them in addressing any immediate threats to ongoing ISB investigations. However, it is important to note that ISB personnel cannot issue kill orders or any orders that are not directly related to the current investigation.
Any VIP under the direct protection of a Death Trooper may be arrested by Imperial Security Bureau personnel. In such cases, the Death Trooper must stand down and comply with any orders given by the arresting ISB personnel.
In cases where the Death Trooper in question is failing to comply with Imperial laws, it is recommended to call in Shock to assist with the arrest of both the Death Trooper and the VIP.
It is important to note that the authority to arrest a VIP under Death Trooper protection is limited to ISB personnel. Junior Agents or above are authorized to conduct such arrests if they have probable cause for suspicion and jurisdiction to start a case. If personnel are directly and openly acting hostile towards ISB staff during the arrest, ISB personnel (restricted to Junior Agent+) may assume temporary command of the minimum necessary force to neutralize the threat (Activating Dark Trooper Units or Requesting a Death Trooper Squadron).
In situations where the Death Trooper is acting within their authority, and the VIP is not suspected of any crime, it is recommended to seek approval from Senior High Command before proceeding with an arrest. This will help avoid unnecessary conflicts and maintain order within the Empire.
As a highly specialized and secretive unit, the Death Trooper battalion operates under a unique set of protocols and directives that are not publicly available. Therefore, while Imperial Security Bureau personnel may work closely with the Death Troopers and provide support, they cannot directly issue orders to the battalion. Instead, ISB personnel should coordinate with the highest-ranking Death Trooper officer present and communicate their objectives to them.
