How to create your first class in Google Classroom. Naming convention considerations and features.
Not my original hack - I'm sure I saw it somewhere else first - but here's an idea. Do you teach the same class in several different sections? Make a "Master Class" template with the links, topics, general use handouts & expectations. Then use the "Copy" feature to create as many as you need - simply change the name of the class and maintain the Master for future use.
Once you've created your "Master Class," copy and rename it as needed to create the sections / class periods / variations you need. Streamline the process of setting up classes & maximize the tools you have to create the time you need!
