Profile Select

Here you can set up a profile.

You can use predefined profiles or set your own profile.

The preset profiles are for 4cpu.

Profile5 is a standard profile, only some boot options change.

Profile1:

  • Move all system and kernel processes to CPU0

  • Isolate CPU1,2 and 3

  • Move process and USB IRQ to CPU1

  • Move process and LAN IRQ to CPU2

  • Move the Player(s) to CPU3

  • Give priority to processes and players

Profile2:

  • As Profile1, but does not prioritize processes and players, it uses the priorities that the kernel automatically gives.

Profile3:

  • Starts the system with only two CPUs. It uses CPU0 for all processes and CPU1 for the Player(s). Prioritizes processes and players.

Profile4:

  • Like Profile3, but not prioritizes processes and players, it uses the priorities that the kernel automatically gives.

The profiles will work if the Players are ner Runvel by default (put on system startup).

Note:

Rpi3 it is not possible to move irqs, they will remain on cpu0 (kernel design)

Rpi4 it is not possible to move USB irqs, they will remain on cpu0 (kernel design)
