UPnP/DLNA

You can use GentooPlayer to render UPnP/DLNA in several ways.

1) Mpd + Upmpdcli

In WI > Enable/Disable software

enable Mpd and Upmpdcli

In WI > Player Setting > Mpd BitPerfect
Configure Mpd

You will now find the render by opening the mconnect application on your mobile device or Audirvana on PC

2) Mpd + Upmpdcli + BubbleUpnp

Use this configuration if you want to use applications such as Linn or Linn Kazoo.

In WI > Enable/Disable software

enable Mpd , Upmpdcli and BubbleUpnp

In WI > Player Setting > Mpd BitPerfect
Configure Mpd

Configure BubbleUpnp

3) GmediaRender

NOTE: gmediarender is not installed by default

to install:

WI > Update/Install/Remove > Software Install

Warning: installation takes time

In WI > Enable/Disable software

enable GmediaRender

In WI > Player Setting > Mpd BitPerfect
GmediaRender

You will now find the render by opening the mconnect application on your mobile device or Audirvana on PC.

If you want to use Linn and/or Linn Kazoo you must also enable and configure BubbleUpnp, see above.
