Welcome to my page! I am a passionate level designer (using Unreal Engine) and always eager to learn new technologies to push the boundaries of level design. I am a fast learner, a great team player, and also good at working alone when needed to do my part of work on time. I believe great level design comes from the heart and that players deserve intelligent and thoughtfully crafted experiences.
Not a day goes by that I can't stop thinking about games like the Zelda series and the Dark Souls series, but what pushed me to chase my dream was Breath of the Wild and especially Elden Ring. I just couldn't stop playing Elden Ring (over 3000 hours), and it reminded me why I love playing games so much. I started learning Unreal at the beginning of 2025 and left my corporate job (end of 2024) to pursue my dream of becoming a full time game dev, but I was scared that my goals weren't realistic because I never went to college or university. As I continued my online research and study on my own, I came to realize that I feel very much connected with level design work and set dressing because all the games I love playing so much have incredible level design. Level design to me is such a fun and rewarding process. The more I do it, the more I want to create more amazing levels. I can’t get enough!
I started playing all my favorite games again, but this time I am asking questions: Why does this feel good to me, and what makes players invest so many hours in these games? I did many practices to mimic what I love, which eventually gave me an opportunity for my first paid part-time gig at an indie company and eventually a full-time job here, and we are making an action RPG game. I can finally say that dreams do come true to some extent if you work hard and keep practicing your strength. I'm eager to keep growing my skills and gain more experience.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing, camping, Grilling, traveling to new places/trying local food/finding local punk Rock shows, playing punk rock music with my band, snooker, pool and trolling players in Elden Ring PvP😆
Fun fact about me: I have achieved “platinum” in all the Dark Souls series, Sekiro, Elden Ring (OVER 3000 HOURS), Elden Ring Nightreign, Demon's Souls. I’ve spent countless hours on the Zelda series, Pokémon, nioh series, Gothic, Skyrim, Lords of the Fallen series, Ghost of Tsushima, Lies of P, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War series and so many more! I have finally taken the leap towards pursuing a lifelong dream of learning about and creating the kind of games that have brought me so much joy, Humor and comfort. RPGs are truly my world!
(PS: That geeky cat's name is Monkey. She's a grumpy old lady and she frequently provides feedback on my designs by walking across the keyboard)
