Review 2 pitches : noted on the pitch page next to the designer's name.
Considerations for your review:
State the name of the designer(s)
State the project title and objective.
Then in paragraph form make comments at least 3 on the following topics:
Aesthetics: Logo, GUI, Look and Feel, Sound
Creativity and Uniqueness
Game Play / Game Loop /Reward Systems
Development / Function
Audience and Market
Writing
Future Plans
Anything else according to your expertise
Share a 10 Minute In Person Slide Deck or Video/Slide Deck Pitch Presentation which may include:
Any reworks or requests from Review 1.
Your pitch this semester will not be as formatted by your professor, instead should move towards the methods you think are appropriate for your project.
It may include Game Doc, Visual Art & Design Development:
(Benchmarks, GUI, Character, Level/Environment, optional Animation) and will not be limited to those deliverables.
Group pitches must include the roles of each designerÂ
You should be making significant progress towards your game design goals outlined in your first Review.
If for some reason you are not able to join in class, please submit both the slides and a video pitch.
In the Text form, submit a statement about your submission including any notes for grading and updates you need to inform the faculty of. Include the link. Also include your video link if you were not able to come to the presentation day.
The First slide should include your name and project working title.
Share a slideshow with anyone with a link, (not just at MSU).
This slideshow will continue to be your presentation throughout the semester. You will eventually make a shorter slide show at the end of the semester to summarize.
Show your process, including
in editor file video screen captures.
if you are in a team, show process shots of project management such as Jira or Monday.
If you have a Game Doc in Document form it should be linked from your slides.Â
Show your Timeline for Completion of the full project.
Include Credits of Collaborators, software, hardware, any Ai needs to be referenced and disclose the process for Generative Ai, including company name and prompts and drafts.
The slides can be in any style that matches the style of your game design. Remember to keep links accessible by stating the action verb (Go to or Review) then the item name (Game Doc or Studio Name).
