Working on giving intense detail towards the feet.
A large part of this week was dedicated to adding more details towards the mesh all over the body. I have to make sure that the details aren't to abstract in order not to over complicate the design of the body, which might be confusing to the eye when looking at the body mesh from certain angles. It could also be a problem when going through the coloring process as it could get confusing with what right areas need to have a sufficient amount of shading, and which part need lighter tones.
Testing out what the main body mesh looks like with the basic material on it.
Adding the skin shade 04 material with a slight blue/grey tint to the main body mesh for the base colour.
Adding the jellybean material to the eyeball.
Hitting the mask by cavity option for the first time to see where the ideal areas are to poly paint for the drop shadows, and overall shading.
Mask by cavity with a blur of 30.
I had to dial down the intense noise I had on the mesh as it was a little too distracting.
As this was a trial run for learning the coloring techniques I ended up going back to the to adding more detail refinement to the mesh. I have learnt that there are still some things that I need to add before I start to focus on shading and coloring, and I want the main mesh body parts to be perfect before I commit to coloring.
