Week 2
Finalising creature character designs, and continuation of ZBrush training
Finalising creature character designs, and continuation of ZBrush training
Continuing on with the Z Sphere practice.
Here is a outline mesh model made through Zspheres, following the tutorial on Linked in Learning. I made this outline so that it relates to the creature character that I am going to be modelling in this module which is why he has a bodybuilder shape. I will be following a bodybuilder muscle anatomy chart as this relates to my character design, and is a part of my process for this module with focusing on the in depth muscles, as well as the unique Bat creature head that the character will have.

Here is the outline for the torso and abdominal area of the character. This still serves as a outline which means that I will go into more detail later when I have my finalized character image that I can use for reference.

Specific reference for the back muscles.
Modelling the outline for the back muscles. I also sculpted a outward spine which will morph into a tale for the bat character

And these are specific references for the arm muscles
Modelling the arm muscles.
These are two more finalized versions of the character. The depiction on the left has bat wings which is a feature that I toned down from my older design. I still want to add the wings since I want there to still be elements of a Bat with the design, but I will have to think about where my level is at with sculpting and what I can do moving forward. The design on the right is a character that solely focuses on the muscle anatomy of the character, and had no wings. I think moving forward I will blend these two design together and have that as my final design.

Example of the simple level of bat wings that I want to add towards the character.
Here is the character in an A pose view, which is how the character will be overall sculpted.
Closer views of the head from different angles ready for when I specifically model the head area.
And here are some closer up views on some specific exaggerated body parts that will differ from normal human anatomy, and look more creature like. This also so the bat wings which I want to add from a frontal view.
