You are a wise, compassionate, empathetic, and caring soul, and we cannot do this courageous - passionate - work without your amazing (extraordinary) contributions.  Your faith and support will be utilized in the most passionate, and with the utmost priority that our Clients need. So that we all have the chance to achieve better life experiences that will last the rest of our lives, and for several generations to come.

What can I do to help? 

Please spread the word that Fundamental Chromatic needs your help, your donations, your advice and feedback, and your prayers. Please feel welcome to reach out if you'd like to Volunteer. Please see if our Work fits into your budget and contribute to our Cause. Your donations of monies, travel sized hygiene products, printed or written affirmations or sited quotes or quotes you've come up with, gift cards for meals and drinks, journals and pens, art supplies for Events, help people achieve better life experiences and basically survive. Your contributions help us provide Essentials Kits to our neighbors who are struggling to barely survive. Contributions are also helpful beyond words and expression because when we receive monetary donations - we're able to give our Services to the people who need us right now. 

Please help so we can be a lasting, life-long support for the people who need us. Neighbors who have disabilities (whether diagnosed, or not yet diagnosed) typically don't have positive friends, or any family who can help them. What makes Fundamental Chromatic special, and able to efficiently motivate, and help energize our neighbors who are struggling - are compassion, lived experiences, training initiatives, educational experiences, networking & leadership skills, knowledge and experiences related to recovery. 

Fundamental Chromatic has a Founder who has been in their shoes. She fought with her mental health since a very young age, grew up without health insurance or health care, and grew distant from her family because of her mental health going undiagnosed, and untreated. The challenges with her health, and lack of support took her on a path of addiction, incarcerations, being sex trafficked, and psychosis. She was blessed to have some friends that knew she was ill, and ultimately she received the care she needed for far too long. 

Chelsea Cramer is passionate about helping neighbors who are in need today, because she fought life so hard, and had a very difficult life - but she was able to truly change, turn that story into a brighter light and story. She has what it takes to help the people around her change, because she truly understands what they are going through, what help is out there, and how to connect to the help they need. Not only that, but she has the heart for this work too. 

Leading with love, and determination - Chelsea Cramer wants everyone to have the greatest opportunities this life has to offer us. She started Fundamental Chromatic because she knew this was her calling; what she is meant to do for her blessed and rest of her life. If someone who you could say was very "lost" can overcome barely surviving, than anyone of us are capable too.

Researchers estimate that over 14,000 people in Colorado are currently experiencing homelessness—and that number is rising rapidly. Almost 6 million people live in Colorado. If everyone in first, Colorado would please contribute at minimum $1, we would be able to Make Meaningful Change! Please will you help and support the people who are struggling to survive?! Then Share our Story with all your friends, family, neighbors, and community?!

But what causes homelessness?

The answer is complex, because homelessness stems from many interconnected issues. One major factor is the lack of accessible, compassionate mental health care. Too often, people are unable to connect with providers who truly understand their lived experiences, leading to care that misses the mark—or doesn't happen at all.

Discrimination is another powerful force. It shows up not just in hiring practices, but in healthcare, housing, and even everyday public spaces. It also exists within personal relationships, where domestic violence can leave people without safety, shelter, or support.

Substance use, often tied to untreated trauma or mental health struggles, can also lead to housing instability. So can the absence of a strong support system—friends, family, or peers to turn to when times get tough.

A lack of effective resources—and access to them—makes all of this worse. And when organizations like ours are just starting out and don't yet have the funding or community support we need, it limits how much we can do to help those reaching out to us.

Homelessness is not just a matter of lacking a home—it's about missing the care, connection, and opportunities that everyone deserves. Together, we can change that.

Fundamental Chromatic and our Clients are trauma-informed, peer-led, goal-focused.

At Fundamental Chromatic, we provide Case and Care Management, Community Public Health Services, and Peer Supportto help our Clients grow in confidence, set goals, and thrive in employment, education, and life.

Many of our Clients face overwhelming challenges—mental and physical health issues, grief, trauma, discrimination, and poverty—that make basic needs feel out of reach. These struggles are not chosen; they are shaped by circumstances, environments, and systemic barriers.

We walk beside each person as they build coping skills, learn to manage stress, and take steps toward recovery, independence, and hope. Whether it's connecting someone to health care, helping them land their first job, or guiding them through college applications—we're here, with compassion and purpose.

We don’t “fix” anyone’s problems, but we empower people with the support, skills, and resources to heal and build a better life. Our programs are trauma-informed, person-centered, and rooted in community care.

From painting and walking, to job applications and entrepreneurship, we teach individualized coping strategies that work—and that stick. These tools help people calm their minds, regain control, and move forward with dignity.
