Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) Policy

At Fundamental Chromatic NonProfit Organization Inc, we believe that true change begins with compassion, fairness, and a commitment to uplifting every individual, regardless of background or circumstance. Our mission is to provide essential resources, housing support, and pathways to self-sufficiency and betterment for the people of our community who are struggling, without family or friends or otherwise any community support, and need helpful guidance, understanding, empathy, courageous actions, kindness, companionships, leadership, and supports. To fulfill this mission, we are deeply committed to Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) in all aspects of our work. Additionally we Advocate for our Clients and the people of our community who need it so that we may all have equal opportunities, and be able to receive and participate in the privileges and benefits of our aspirations. 

1. Commitment to Diversity and Non-Discrimination

We embrace diversity as a strength and foster an environment where all individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. We do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, socioeconomic status, or any other protected characteristic and/or class. This commitment applies to our hiring practices, volunteer engagement, partnerships, and the services we provide to the community. We will never intentionally harm, discourage, disappoint, turn down, ignore, or otherwise neglect our already under-represented neighbors. 

  2. Equitable Access to Resources, Health, and Nutrition

We recognize that equity differs from equality—people have different needs, and we strive to provide support that meets individuals where they are. Health equity within our Mission includes working hard and diligently to remove obstacles to health care access and resource access, as well as to enhance positive health outcomes for all people; for everyone.  We stand in the beliefs that Biopsychosocial Health means every aspect of life that we need, wish for, hope for, become inspired by, and desire for ourselves - should be available and shared as a gift that we all deserve; working hard to ensure that every one has access to everything necessary for total and honest biopsychosocial health for a lifetime and for eternity. This means:

• Prioritizing underserved and under-represented communities, including individuals facing homelessness, mental health challenges, lack of family and friends or otherwise - support, and systemic (undefeatable - alone) barriers to success.

• Providing access to health and nutrition resources to help individuals achieve better health, energy, motivation, wellness, well-being; and to reduce and eliminate hunger.

• Encouraging and supporting our Clients to gain greater physical, mental, and social activity and offering companionship and love through participation in activities that promote health, social engagement, and personal development.

• Ensuring that all of our programs are designed with accessibility in mind, from physical-mental accommodations to language support, and from transportation needs to finding the right Care Teams for each and every one of our clients.

• Offering resources based on need, what will best helpfully benefit our clients ensuring that support is distributed in a way that uplifts the most vulnerable first. 3. Inclusive Hiring and Volunteer Opportunities

We believe that representation matters. Our hiring and volunteer recruitment efforts are designed to reflect and enhance the diversity of the community we serve. We actively seek to engage individuals from different backgrounds, including those with lived experience in homelessness, mental health struggles, and recovery. 4. Culturally Competent and Compassionate Services

We are committed to understanding the unique needs of our community members by:

• Providing trauma-informed care and ensuring all staff and volunteers undergo training in compassionate-understanding communication.

• Partnering with local businesses, mental health organizations, and social services to create a network of support that respects cultural, emotional, and personal needs. While respecting our differences, and uplifting the rights of one another as our own entity and creative works of arts, and friendships. 

5. Community Support, Donations, and Financial Stewardship

We recognize that our mission is only possible through the generosity and support of the people who believe in us and that we can and will make a lasting and an extraordinary difference for the people and all of the community. We request contributions from individuals, businesses, and all stakeholders who are able to donate, whether financially or tangibly. Our funding priorities are:

1. Fulfilling our Mission—ensuring the essential needs of our Clients are met before anything else.

2. Compensating the Founder and hiring employees to sustain, expand and improve our services.

3. Saving and building interest toward the goal of securing a local office in Greeley, CO—preferably downtown, but we would be grateful for any space in Greeley, Evans, or Garden City, CO.

6. Building an Inclusive Community Through Partnerships. Organizations who would like to help us please do, and we are here to connect our Clients to your established resources, business, and services. 

Goal = Becoming equipped to effectively serve our communities.

We believe that inclusion is not just a policy but an ongoing effort. We work alongside local organizations, businesses, and advocacy groups, and all who believe in us to:

• Amplify diverse voices in decision-making and policy development.

• Advocate for systemic change that removes barriers to housing, employment, healthcare, education, wellness, and nutrition.

• Encourage community-wide participation in supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

7. Accountability and Continuous Improvement

We hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards of diversity, equity, and inclusion by:

• Regularly assessing our programs projects and policies for inclusivity.

• Seeking feedback from the community to ensure our services remain effective, efficient, and helpful for all who need our Support.

• Committing to ongoing education, training, and improvement to challenge biases and create a more just society. As well as to stay qualified to serve every Client and community member who needs us.
