I am a PhD candidate with a background in biology, specialising in neuroscience. I began my academic path with a Bachelor's degree in Sciences for Health at La Rochelle University. During my Erasmus exchange at Umeå University, I discovered a passion for neuroscience, which led me to pursue a Master’s degree in Integrative Biology and Physiology at Sorbonne University, with a focus on Behavioural and Cognitive Neurosciences. In my final year, I completed an internship at the University of Sydney's FRONTIER research group, under the supervision of Professor Muireann Irish. This experience deepened my interest in dementia, particularly in the motivational disturbances associated with the disease.
Motivated by this experience, I joined the ECOCAPTURE@CARE project, which aims to address motivational disturbances in dementia through non-pharmacological interventions. The goal is to enhance patients' autonomy while reducing the burden on caregivers. Since October 2024, I have been pursuing a joint PhD between the FrontLab at the Paris Brain Institute and the FRONTIER lab at the Brain and Mind Centre in Sydney. I am co-supervised by Dr. Bénédicte Batrancourt in Paris and Professor Muireann Irish in Sydney.
