I am a PhD student at the ED3C Doctoral School (Sorbonne University), under the co-supervision of Pr. Emmanuel Mandonnet and Pr. Alexis Schnitzler.
Since starting my PhD in October 2022, my research has focused on improving early cognitive screening for patients with acquired brain injuries (ABI) in acute care settings, such as neurosurgery units, before their discharge. The objective is to identify patients at risk of poor prognosis early on, allowing timely referral for comprehensive cognitive testing and rehabilitation, to reduce the risk of long-term cognitive sequelae. As part of this project, I developed Cog-First, a tablet-based application that enables self-assessment of episodic memory, executive functions, and attention, designed to support clinicians in their decision-making regarding personalized rehabilitation plans.
Apart from my PhD, I am a physician specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), with a particular focus on ABI and cognitive neuroscience. I completed my medical degree (MD), PM&R specialist degree, and a Master degree in Neurological Disabilities from Paris-Saclay University. Following this, I developed my clinical and research experience during a fellowship at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.
Starting in November 2024, I will have the position of Cheffe de Clinique in the Neuro-Rehabilitation Department at Fernand Widal Hospital (Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris).
