I began my academic journey at New York University (NYU), where I earned dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for research while working under Dr. Pascal Wallisch to explore the interaction between cognition, emotion, and music. This experience ignited my interest in brain function and behavior, leading me to pursue a Master’s degree in Modeling for Neuronal and Cognitive Systems at Université Côte d'Azur. While studying there, an internship at Inria (CoBTeK, with Dr. Valeria Manera) introduced me to the investigation of Alzheimer’s disease and clinical apathy through eye-tracking technology. This pivotal experience sparked my passion for understanding the eye dynamics associated with these conditions and inspired me to delve further into this research area.
Now, as a first-year doctoral student, under the supervision of Dr. Bénédicte Batrancourt and Dr. Monica Toba, I am focusing on ocular dynamics in individuals with dementia and clinical apathy. Our research is particularly exciting, as we are exploring these behaviors in real-world home environments.
