No matter what we do in Architecture, Combating the weather is almost a singular battle we play out on a daily basis; every day is different, and we have 365 of them each day, hitting us with different means of reducing our way of living.

In this lecture series, I introduce the concepts of weather, but first, we need to understand a very simple beginning, that of the season. How they are generated, and what effect they have on our planet, and letter on the effect on detailing.

Not the huhe buildup over the winter months fro I suspect heating needs, but look at the way the carbon increases in May due again I suspect ploughing releasing the carbon from the soil.

If you make it spin even just a little bit with your fingers, you can see that it changes its behaviour a lot. If you spin it faster using a rope, you can see that even more. It does not want to change its orientation. Not only does not tumble, but it really wants to maintain the orientation of its spinning axis in space. This property is #gyroscopic rigidity and it’s used a lot in #spaceflight, for example, to maintain the orientation in space of #satellites.
