About Me

Willkommen! My name is Heidi DeRidder, and I am currently working on my M.Ed in World Language Instruction. I have a BA in German from the University of Michigan, and a K-8 teaching certificate. From 2007-2009 I taught German level 1, Introduction to World Languages, and Geography at a middle school in Michigan. I left to stay at home with my daughter, and have since worked in a German immersion school, and taught German levels 1-3 honors as a long-term substitute teacher. I am looking forward to getting back into the classroom!
