Some questions that don't fit in either category
Q: What is the "Dream Theory"?
A: The "Dream Theory" was a once popular theory where all the games in the series are dreamt up by the Bite Kid from FNaF 4. This theory irked most fans due to it undermining the impact of the story, as all the events in the games never happened. Since the announcement of Sister Location in 2016, the theory lost popularity. This theory was jossed by Scott, as he himself made fun of this theory on Reddit and UCN.
Q: What is the "Adult Theory"?
A: The "Adult Theory" was a theory that was made around the time when SL was in development. The theory goes that the new location would be a place geared towards an more adult audience with the designs of the animatronics, and some of the unused lines "you won't tell anyone, would you?". This even caught the attention of Scott, whom then updated his website to include "children" in the source code to joss the theory.
Q: What is the name of the Bite Kid?
A: The Bite Kid's name is never stated or confirmed in any form of media.
Names like "Chris" and "Norman" were fan nicknames.
One popular belief is that the Bite Kid's name is Evan. In "The Real Jake", Evan is the father of Jake, who had a brother named Michael. In the book, Michael is described to be robotic, stoic and had a bit of sense of humour, which is seen in the games and even the Survival Logbook. However, it was never said if Evan is the younger brother of Michael or not. In the book, Evan dies while severing the military.
One of the scrapped stories "You're The Band" has a character named "Mike" who is a security guard at one of the old Freddy Fazbear's locations, and he knows about the hauntings that went on in these locations. This character sounds awfully a lot like Mike Schmidt, the same character in FNaF 1. There is a lot of evidence suggesting that Mike Schmidt is Michael Afton himself. Considering this and that Mike is very different from Michael from The Real Jake, this Mike from "You're The Band" could be Michael Afton himself, thus is not the same Michael from TRJ.
The reason this story is being brought up is that Mike never mentions any details about his family, let alone why he chose to help. Furthermore, The Ultimate Guide never mentions any theories on the Bite Kid's name, and is constantly referred to as "Bite Kid" throughout the entire book.
Since the name is not confirmed or commented on, the the Library will keep referring to the Bite Kid by his nickname.
