Welcome to Malipayon! 

Malipayon is a community in the municipality of Punta, it faces the Pacific Ocean and borders San Roque Bay to the East. 

Malipayon is primarily a fishing village, almost half (44%) of its total household population depends on fishing for their livelihood and source of income.   Fishers are on average, 40 years old. 

Local traders buy from 10-15 fishers at a time, they then sell the fish at the public market or in neighboring towns.
