CFNC (College for North Carolina) is a free service of the State of North Carolina that helps students plan, apply, and pay for college. Access CFNC here. Remember your username and password! You will use this resource for lots of different reasons!
Students can find great resources on CFNC to assist them in their college search as well as great resources for financial aid and scholarships.
NC College Connect (direct admission opportunity to select NC schools) is accessed through CFNC
Many NC colleges also allow students to apply through CFNC. CFNC hosts free college application week (CAW) each year.
Students can also fill out the Residency Determination Service through CFNC.
Here are five steps to get started on your application for admission through the CFNC App Hub:
Log in to CFNC.org , go to the Application Hub, and select “Start an Application”.
A window will appear which contains a list of all participating NC college and universities.
Choose the correct college and the type of application (such as Undergraduate, Career and College Promise, or Transfer).
Once you have selected the college and type of application, click the “Apply” button immediately to the right of the selected application name.
The first page you'll see is a landing page that will provide you details from the college. If the college prefers an application outside of CFNC.org, you'll be given the link to get that application started.
