Brief Curricullum Vitae

I was born in Thessaloniki in 1980 and graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2004. I received my specialty in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Theagenio Anti-Cancer Hospital and in the 1st Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. at "G. Papageorgiou" where I completed my doctoral thesis on the topic of Neurodevelopmental Evaluation of the Embryo in Abnormal and Normal Pregnancies [PhD number: 2635, DOI: 10.12681 / eadd / 22020, GRI-2010-5789, (2010) ].

I took the subspecialty in Fetal Medicine for a period of 2+ years at the Fetal Medicine Research Institute, King's College Hospital, London under the guidance and supervision of Professor Kypros Nicolaides. During my training at King's College Hospital I had taken all the certificates of competence in fetal ultrasound (1st and 2nd trimester, Doppler - 3rd trimester, fetal ultrasound, cervical evaluation) and in invasive procedures (Chorion Villus biopsy, amniocentesis).

Following that training, I was specialized on the management of high-risk pregnancies at Princess Royal College Hospital (King's College Hospital - NHS Trust).

In May 2017, I was awarded the Diploma in Fetal Medicine which requires successful cycles of clinical and research education as well as scientific work publication. In addition, I hold the Certification of Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound of the Central Board of Ministry of Health - 2019.
