School Advisory

Feifan provides advisory services to families looking to send their child to independent (private) school in the UK, whether as part of a relocation to the UK and attendance at day school or sending their child to boarding school. 

Our advisory services fall into several categories:

• Search & Selection - Based on interviews with parents & child, we compile a profile of the candidate and create a short list of prospective schools, with recommendations on the most suitable. Factors we take into consideration include:

  1. Age of child

  2. Budget

  3. Academic ability of child

  4. English ability of child

  5. Culture of school

  6. Extra curricular abilities of child (e.g. sport, drama, music, etc.)

  7. Preferred location of school (if applicable)

• School Tours - Some families like to visit prospective schools in the year preceding application. We manage these tours for our customers, including all facets of their stay in the UK. 

• Application Support - We support parents throughout the application process, including document collation and preparation.

• Exam Preparation - We provide the child with guidance and tuition for their entrance exam that, depending on the school, could include English, Maths, Verbal &/or Non-Verbal Reasoning elements.

• Interview Preparation - We conduct practice interviews with experienced former schools principals, registrars and heads of admission to ensure the child is fully prepared.

• Relocation Assistance - Support around moving to the UK, including visas.

Based on the needs of the family we will prepare a proposal that will contain some or all of the above elements as part of our service package.
