Guardianship

International students under 18 years old studying at school or university in the UK should have an educational guardian based in the country. In many situations this may be a family member already based there, but if the family cannot nominate their own guardian for the child the school will require that they use an AEGIS accredited guardianship organisation such as Feifan International.

Silver Package

Fee: USD995 per semester

Our Silver Package provides all of the core requirements of a guardian in the UK, including:

Advice on preparation for school prior to arrival
Airport collection / drop-off
Monthly check-in with student house master/mistress
Monthly meeting with parents (can be run in Mandarin Chinese or English)
Social & emotional support (pastoral care) for student
Term report for parents (in Simplified / Traditional Chinese or English)
Arranged homestay with a suitable host family during holidays*

Gold Package

Fee: USD1,995 per semester

Our Gold Package includes all of the services provided in our Silver Package, plus:

Visa application assistance
Monthly school visit for check in with house master / mistress, head of pastoral care & student
Attendance at parents evenings / consultations
GCSE & A-Level advice (when required)

Platinum Package

Fee: USD3,995 per semester

Our Platinum Package includes all of the services in our Gold Package, plus:

Travel agency for exeat and holidays
Access to, & coordination with, Feifan legal partners*
24/7 availability for school, parents and student, including exclusive Platinum Emergency Hotline (Mandarin Chinese & English speaking staff)

Notes

Homestays during holidays and exeat are an additional USD140 per night
Additional travel & supplemental expenses may be applicable
Feifan requires a USD1,000 holding fee for any student, regardless of package, to cover unforeseen costs. The fee, minus any costs, will be reimbursed upon completion of the guardianship service
Fees charged by Feifan legal partners are separate to guardianship fees and billed directly by the partner.
Feifan International policies & procedures are reviewed annual. Our Package Offerings were last reviewed on January 13th 2025.
