George Washington University: Summer 2023 Collaboration:

Inspired by this idea that physical activity interventions could improve mental health, Connie and Amy partnered to create a project to meet the need of increasing physical activity interventions that would support mental health for students in schools. Dom Allese, Abby Feigenbaum, Hannah Flinchum and Makenna Paradis joined the conversation and created Brain & Body Breaks!

George Washington University: Summer 2022 Collaboration:

When they were DPT students, Braedon Bloom, PT, DPT; Kathy Kurinsky, PT, DPT; Hailey Nulsen, PT, DPT and Kaitlin Pruitt, PT, DPT created the job descriptions "Jobs 4 All". Curating job lists from multiple sources, these lists can be used by teachers to target skills needed for jobs.

George Washington University: Summer 2021 Collaboration

Jamie Handley, PT, DPT; Rotem Itzhaki, PT, DPT, ATC and Joseph Santangelo, PT, DPT created this website! Tasked with the idea of applying the expanded Fit4Work Protocol, we realized we needed a place to share a program to address this. Wouldnt it be really great to have an open access website with activities and ideas that is free and openly sourced...have you guys ever made a website? They shook their heads, I said just go google it and see what you think...they left the meeting...and at the next meeting had a framework for this site. They created the Fit4Work activity program with accompanying videos.

As students at George Washington University, Angela Petretta, PT, DPT; Sarah Graham, PT, DPT; Matthew Giroux, PT, DPT, and Niki Mahmoudzadeh, PT, DPT researched the first Fit4Work Strength training protocol. Conceived from the idea that we need to figure out a way to proactively prescribe and dose the physical activity needed, this project included a review of evidence and creation of a power strength training protocol.
