Before Arrival:
Checklist
✔️Apply for Visa: All students are required to obtain the study abroad visa prior to their arrival to Korea. Ewha will cancel the admission for those who enter Korea without visa. K-ETA is not accepted.
- Exchange & ISEP: D-2-6 Visa
- Visiting & ISEP Direct: D-2-8 Visa
- Korean Passport Holder: No need to apply for the D-2-6/8 visa
✔️Update your Checklist: Update your flight info, insurance, visa grant notice, and personal contact info on the application page.
✔️Check notices and important dates: Check our communication channel regularly.
✔️Remember your Student ID: You can find your student ID number on the application page.
✔️Prepare tuberculosis test certificate: Dormitory residents need to submit the Tuberculosis test certificate (inquiries: i-house@ewha.ac.kr).
After Arrival:

✔️Check-in to Dormitory: Detailed instructions will be announced later.
✔️Pick up your Student ID Card: You need to submit signed consent form to collect your student ID card.
✔️Foreigner Registration: Further details will be informed through our communication channel.
✔️Attend farewell ceremony: Further details will be informed through our communication channel.
Foreigner Registration*
According to Korean Immigration Act, foreigners intending to stay in Korea for more than 90 days must apply for Foreigner Registration and have a Foreigner Registration issued. The Foreigner Registration should be completed within 90 days of your entry.
Students are not allowed to leave Korea before receive their Foreigner Registration Card. Your D-2-6/D-2-8 visa will be automatically expired when you travel out of Korea before receiving FRC, unless you have a multiple entry visa.
