Ewha’s libraries consists of the Central Library and five branch libraries: Engineering, Law, Theology, Music and Medical Library. You can enter library by using your physical student ID card, or your mobile ID (QR code). You can also reserve seats at reading rooms or desktop / laptop rooms.

Q1. How do I use the library?
A1. Your student ID card (or mobile ID) is needed to access the library, borrow materials and reserve a seat. To learn more about how to issue your student ID card or use your mobile ID, go to Student ID Card page.
Q2. What is my ID for the Library website?
A2. Your student ID number is your login ID for the library website. You can log into the library website through EUREKA.
Q3. How many books can be checked out at a time?
A3. Exchange students may check out a maximum of 10 books for 2 weeks.
Q4. Can I extend the return date?
A4. Yes. You can extend the return date from the library website: My ELIS – Material Use – Renew/Reserve/Branch Loan. You can apply for up to 2 renewals for each item. (The scheduled date of return is extended by the loan period from the date of application for extension. Course reserve materials, reserved books and overdue books cannot be renewed.)
Q5. Are there copy machines or scanners at the library?
A5. Yes. Copy machines (to be used with debit card or T-money card) are set up on every floor. Scanners are set up at the PC labs (B1), the 2nd and the 3rd floor. Please check the library website for more information.
