Final Thoughts

This course on Cross-Cultural Skills has been one of the most enriching academic experiences of my program. Through its different modules, I learned to understand the true meaning of multiculturalism, intercultural communication, and diversity. I realized that communication across cultures is not only about language, but about empathy, respect, and openness to new perspectives.

Among all the projects, the ones that impacted me the most were the Project 2: Country and Project 4: Stability in Marriages. They allowed me to connect creativity with culture, comparing how meaning changes between languages and how cultural identity influences translation. These activities showed me that every language carries a world of values and emotions that deserve to be understood deeply.

Finally, this course has helped me grow personally and professionally. I am now more aware of my own “diversity mix” the combination of cultures, beliefs, and experiences that shape who I am. I also learned that cultural cooperation is the foundation for peace and innovation in today’s globalized world. I plan to apply these lessons in my career, promoting inclusion and intercultural understanding wherever I work.
