I have constructed this introduction to Statistics guided notes worksheet for students to work on as part of their guided practice during a planned lesson, during student teaching 2023. This artifact is a class assignment that will be assigned to the students to work in groups or independently after working on a few guided problems first. This artifact contains the skills they need to start of the day 1 of the Statistics unit. This artifact was created for the purpose of incorporating the relationship in mathematics alongside with the important vocabulary terms.
Creating this worksheet for my daily lesson, helped students understand the meaning of the expectations that I require to achieve in their academic goals in my classroom. As it states in the Performance Indicator 6-K, " uses assessment data, student work samples and observations from continuous monitoring of student progress…,” I was able to incorporate not just real-life experience but also the vocabulary that students need to use inside my classroom during my lesson. I was able to create scenarios during their Go formative where students needed to think critically and understand the definition of a specific sample. I was able to assess my students thought the learning program to assure that my students were reaching their daily goal. Alongside, as I used the real time assessment to help me evaluate for the next day lesson, I was able to incorporate and promote literacy inside my lesson. As Knowledge Indicator 6-A, “understands appropriate and varied instructional approaches used before during and after reading…,” while students worked on this worksheet it that they learned the skills needed and during our class discussion and stopping and jotting to make sure that we all understood the kye words that my help us distinguish the correct term for the sample used. Students were able to do the last part as an optional practice front the guided notes to assure their understanding.
In the creation of this assignment, it helped me grow as a professional educator in creating something that was partially flipped. Students were able to finish the guided notes, class discussions, and worked together as a group to find the vocabulary words meaning and at the same time using their literacy skills. As I created this artifact, I knew that I will be prone to incorporate more of their interests into their learning and connecting this discipline with everything else in the world that surrounds them, so I used scenarios where student were able to relate and catch the definition faster.

This artifact contains the skills they need to continue to succeed in Unit 7-Exponentials and Logarithms. This artifact was created for the purpose of incorporating the relationship in mathematics alongside with the important vocabulary terms, and to promote literacy.
Creating this worksheet for my daily lesson, helped students understand the meaning of the expectations that I require to achieve in their academic goals in my classroom. As it states in the Performance Indicator 6-Q, " integrates reading, writing, and oral communication to engage students in content learning,” I was able to include reading and writing as well as oral communication during this lesson and assignment. The only way for students to understand and solve these problems was only if they read the problem and at the same time extract the information needed to solve it. Being able to understand and write their answer with a label, was reassuring to know that they understood what they have read. As Knowledge Indicator 6-C, “understands communication theory, language development, and the role of language in learning,” in which it was proof to know that as we discussed scenarios in the classroom, I was able to teach them the mathematical terms/language that they needed to get into the habit of pronouncing and using when working in this unit. Because of the key terms and readings that we did together, students were able to distinguish between Compound interest and Population growth.

Students were able to finish the guided notes, class discussions, and worked together as a group and were able to find the difference between both formulas by using their vocabulary and literacy skills. As I created this artifact, I knew that I will be prone to incorporate more of their interests into their learning and connecting this discipline with everything else in the world that surrounds them, so I used scenarios where students were able to relate, attain, and use the mathematical terms faster.
