Absolutely formative event, 50 students met in L2 English, they shortened the distances and showed that, when you want, you CAN overcome any obstacle. What satisfaction, watching them chat in English and confirm, for those who have doubts, the absolute power of COMMUNICATION, of culture, understood as sacrifice and determination, seriousness and deep commitment that becomes pleasure in the comparison and sharing of projects, goals, everyday life, aspirations and dreams with teachers and parents ... The English has shortened the distance, has opened the rooms of new friends in forced lockdown since October ... today the power of the word has won, which becomes an irrepressible desire to build, starting from strength OF EDUCATION, the one that breaks down barriers and sets us free ..... The event involved 70 students, who used the ENGLISH L2 as a communication tool, through the creation of video clips on typical dishes of the country of origin and a hobby. The enthusiasm of a very young generation dominated, so severely tested by one of the most difficult periods of recent times; and that is learning to be RESILIENT and to reinvent itself using the TOOL par excellence: EDUCATION. The one that shortened distances and destroyed space-time barriers. Good guys. The young ETWINNERS, gladiators of modern times to the sound of keyboard and PC, my congratulations to all participants. And, as usual, an infinite thanks to the parents who are always ready to collaborate and build with us new experiences that cannot fail to ignore the humanity of each one, which is expressed in wonderful facets, which then build the different identities of each one. The event involved 70 students, 50 on the platform and 20 in the classroom (the Portuguese, who recently came out of a 4-month lockdown) who used the ENGLISH L2 as a tool for exchanging information, through the creation of video clips on the dishes typical of the country of origin, a hobby and culinary, religious and local Easter traditions.

This third meeting has opened the window that the pandemic has blocked; the boys travelled while staying in their own home. Listened and observed the Easter atmosphere outside their borders. They added 55 seats around their virtual table. It is a way of acquiring knowledge and skills through communicative interaction, of confirming confidence in one's linguistic - expressive abilities. Yes, because we communicate with the body, not just with the voice. This RESILIENT generation continues to teach us that wanting is power, despite and regardless of linguistic difficulties, of connection (today the signal was really weak), but nobody gave up. Each has been able to make the most of the opportunity offered by the School which continues and does not bend, which speaks and acts in noisy silence. Thanks to our Head-teacher Mrs Donnici, who accompanied and followed us; encouraged and honored, as always, by her presence. THANK YOU

- typical food products

- local agro-food tradition

The bond of continuity between the old and the new generations is wonderful, who confronted each other through the rediscovery of flavors, smells and traditions that make each people unique and inimitable in their simplicity, made up of work and dedication to the land. The mother who welcomes and supports us by giving everyone the most beautiful things she possesses, if cultivated and cared for with love. The grandchildren gave a voice to the grandparents and allowed them to lead the digital natives back to a timeless time, made up of little things: spontaneity, simplicity and dedication, humanity and mutual aid, so in PORTUGAL we discovered the existence of a Monastery of nuns in which the land is cultivated and local producers, who lend a hand to the sisters in the hardest jobs. All kinds of fruit and vegetables are grown, rabbits, chickens and pigs are raised… and then the nun who drives the tractor…. MITICAAAA. In addition, the grandparents who told their grandchildren about the passion and dedication they have towards the land they cultivate, fascinating and touching. Then in the Czech Republic we discovered fish farming, you wouldn't think for a country so far from the sea, and also the production of beer and the cultivation of mushrooms…. Today we have discovered the identifying traits, which enhance people and which we, through our project, want to DISCLOSE, PROMOTE AND DEFEND from the ferocious attacks of globalization: which tends to make us all equal and sadly monotonous. In Calabria, we have enhanced the farms of small local producers who work seriously in our territory of Crosia; we have rediscovered the goodness and uniqueness of organic products, grown and consumed at zero KM. Thanks to the Rivitti’s company, Franco’s and to all those who, with their serious work, give us smells and flavors that make us happy. Thanks guys, what a great lesson in life and enthusiasm.

It is wonderful to discover the beauties of different territories, but at the same time equal in the splendor of an enviable artistic-cultural potential, even more fascinating because it is told and shared, illustrated and told by the enthusiasm of the new generations, who give us their world, their aspirations and the treasures of a culture that is a bond with the territory, human and artistic potential to be cultivated, preserved through the channels most familiar to them: the social media ... which, once again, have reduced distances, demolished the barriers of the pandemic and built bridges of friendships and collaborations, in view of the meeting in PRESENCE next year ... for now HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL. Colleagues and students, Headmasters and the whole community, who have grown up with us, worked with us and had fun. Thanks guys, what a great lesson in life and enthusiasm.
