We study molecular genetics and genetic engineering of rice. Our current research projects are as follow:

・Cytoplasmic male sterility in rice

・Protein production in rice

・Enhancement of saccharification yields from rice straws

・Cellular agriculture

・Building of breeding basis for enhanced production of rice bran oil
