MARCH NEWSLETTER
What a fun month March has been! This one has looked a little different, and that has made for the sweetest change of pace. I am excited to share all the adventures I went on this month!

WEDDING DAY!
For those of you who know my friends Kieley and Vini, you may know they have been in the process of obtaining a Visa for a long time now, all waiting to get married. This month, we were finally able to celebrate their wedding!
It was so beautiful to see them receive this gift and step into this new season after a long season of waiting. I have learned so much about trust, faith, and waiting through Kieley in this time!
The wedding was almost a mini-Eagles reunion, and I was able to see many of my friends from my years in Summer Academy as well as several of the Eagles staff members who have moved offices. This was such a joyful event for all of us!

CALIFORNIA
I took a little spring break trip to California, and I went on all kinds of cool adventures out there!
I ran the marathon I have been training for in the dry California air and gale-force winds. It was not a walk in the park, but I finished!
We visited our SoCal office and got to spend some time seeing what their ministry looks like. It was really nice to see old friends and meet some new ones! We were able to go to church with them and play pick-up with them. The weather is so beautiful here!
While our main goal of the trip was to relax and rest, we did also have to get in a little bit of California tourism.
We went to the LA Zoo, the Griffith Observatory, a UCI vs. UCSB men's volleyball game, and Trevor even took us to In-N-Out!

CLUB TEAM
Our winter season ran through the end of this month, so we trained indoors with our girls all month. The highlight of the month for the girls was Glow Practice. Coach Becca ran it, and they all had a great time wearing glow sticks and playing in the dark!
Unfortunately, my team has been struggling with numbers and commitment and was unable to make the full commitment for the spring. Because of this, my team will not be continuing as a team. Please be praying for the girls to continue to grow as followers, people, and soccer players in whatever setting they find themselves. I am sad to leave this group and the relationships we have developed.

TRIP HOME
This has been a month full of travel, from the very beginning to the very end. The last weekend of the month, my college roommates returned to Milligan, and we spent the weekend together! I was able to go home and see my parents, visit with lots of college friends, and spend the whole weekend with the girls. It was so refreshing to be back with them. They are such a safe, restful space for me, and I praise the Lord for their friendships!
Praises and Prayer Requests
Travel has been exhausting this month, and I had a lot of difficulty with flights, delays, and getting stuck in random places! In the end, I was able to get everywhere I needed and did so safely, and praise the Lord for that!
I didn't realize how badly I needed a break to see all of my people until I got it, and I am so thankful I was blessed with these opportunities. My family, Jake and his family, and my sweet Milligan friends and roommates were highlights this month!
As I mentioned above, my team is unfortunately not continuing with our spring season. Prayers for each of the girls and their next steps would be greatly appreciated!
I've mentioned it over the past few months, but I am still navigating what my next steps will be after Residency. I would still appreciate prayers over that process!
I am still in the process of fundraising, and I would appreciate prayers over the Lord's provision in providing financially and through bringing partners alongside me.
