Thursday - 2.19.26

Another day in paradise. The goal for today is... relax. The students had their choice of whatever they wanted to do at the resort: beach, pool, swim, chill, eat, read, etc. It was so much fun seeing all of the students aroun the resort just enjoying spending time with their friends and not having anything to stress about. The trip has been so packed with activity since we got here that today felt like a nice change of pace and a chance to just enjoy the scenery, sun and water. 

Throughout the day, the students ate at the buffet and snack bar. At night, we were able to secure reservations for everyone at the a la carte restaurants around the hotel. Some students went to the Italian restaurant, some went to the Mexican restaurant, and some went to the Dominican restaurant. It was a fun moment to dress up and enjoy our last dinner in the DR.  After dinner we enjoyed some live music and dancing!
