Friday - 2.24.23

And that's a wrap! What an amazing, transformative trip! Today was a day to catch up on some sleep and prepare for the travel home. We did some more exploring of the zona colonial and were able to try out some new restaurants and grab some snacks throughout the day. Everyone also did some final souvenir shopping. 

At 3pm we boarded the bus and headed to the airport. We arrived with plenty of time and check in went nice and smoothly. Since we were so early, we all had some time to just relax, get some food, souvenirs and wait until we were assigned a gate. 

Although we were a bit delayed, we got on the plane and I think we are all ready to go home and see our loved ones! The trip was a great time for all of us to bond, learn about the Dominican culture and of course, speak Spanish!
