Wednesday - 2.22.23

Today was a welcome change of pace for everyone. In Santo Domingo and santiago we were on strict schedules to make sure that we got to all of our activities on time. Here in puerto plata, we are a bit more laid back. 

The students had the option to either ride the cable cars this morning and do some sight seeing in puerto plata or stay at the hotel and just enjoy the pool and beach. About half of the students decided to stay while the other half decided to go on the cable cars. Whichever decision the students made, they all had a great time. 

Everyone had lunch around 12 and for the afternoon, about half of the students left for their snorkeling excursion while the other half enjoyed the amenities here in the hotel.

Some students made reservations for the restaurants in the resort and had a nice sit down dinner and some others stuck to the buffet. 

Today was an awesome day of fun and sun and was a great change of pace from the cities of santiago and Santo Domingo. 

Our last full day is tomorrow already and we will be sure to make the most of it!
