Friday - 2.20.26

We left the resort and went into the city center of Puerto Plata in order to see the festive, decorated streets and do some last minute souvenir shopping. It was a fun, leisurely way to end our time in Puerto Plata. We got some local treats and enjoyed the sites before heading back on the bus and making our way to the STI Santiago Airport. 

We arrived with plenty of time before our flight and were able to breeze through check-in. Some of our students were even able to broadcast the boys playoff basketball game, live from the airport! It was an exciting moment as our basketball team won in overtime! We were all cheering and some of the students on the trip were able to contribute some color commentary to the broadcast! 

Before we knew it, it was time to board the plane and head back to cold NY. We arrived in NY, got on our bus at JFK and made our way back to Edgemont. This trip was unforgettable and I don't know how we could ever top it. I am so thankful for the amazing students on this trip. Each one of them contributed to the experience and I hope that everyone is walking away with something valuable that they will rememeber forever!
