From Project Learning Tree, check out these winter-themed STEM activities! Your students can explore the limits of their local growing zone, use math and science to compare rain, snow, and ice, and so much more!

No permission slip needed for this virtual field trip! Discovery Education and Polar Bears International share "Tundra Connections" where students can virtually visit Canada and learn about the polar bear migration. There are two different programs targeted for different ages. Teachers can also utilize the bonus activities before, during or after their virtual field trip. Project WET’s interactive website DiscoverWater.org hosts some of Project WET’s most popular activities in a fun digital learning experience. The website is targeted for tweens (children ages 8-12) but has proven fun for learners of all ages! This free tool includes interactive activities, quizzes, Science Notebook pages, printable individual action posters, and resources for teachers. All this and the activities are correlated to Common Core and NGSS standards!
