Habitat Extension

ebersole Habitats Extension

In this extension, your students will read about four habitats that we have here in Michigan - grassland/prairies, forests, freshwater, and wetlands. Students will then reflect on what they have learned by critically thinking (and doing research) about an animal that would call each of those habitats home.

Study Jams: Biomes

This online resource provides students with a short lesson and quiz on Biomes. Topics such as habitats, climate, and ecosystems are all covered in the professionally created mini-lesson by Scholastic.
