Prasoon is an MPhil student in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence at the University of Cambridge, working with Dr Alice Cicirello and Mr Iarla Boyce within the DVU group. His project focuses on using machine learning to correct algorithmic biases in satellite retrievals of cloud physical properties, particularly in polluted ship-track regions, while preserving reliable retrievals in clean regions.
Before joining Cambridge, Prasoon worked for five years across data science, product analytics and growth strategy roles in high-growth technology companies, including Teleparty, Swiggy, and Magicpin. His work has involved forecasting, cohort and LTV analysis, experimentation, funnel optimisation, and building analytics systems for real-world decision-making.
Prasoon holds a BSc in Information Technology from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, completed in 2021. His interests include uncertainty-aware machine learning, probabilistic modelling, deep learning, forecasting, and the use of machine learning to improve the reliability of complex real-world systems.
