Mr John Perry

John is a Fourth-year Engineering student at Churchill College, Cambridge with a focus on mechanics and materials, information and control theory, and electronics.

Particular areas of his interest include bio-inspired robotics, novel applications of control theory to robotic systems, and optimisation methods within control.

His summer research project and masters' year project under Alice Cicirello are on the development and testing of a dynamically stable, one-legged hopping robot
