Installation Steps

Access the Interior: Open the front door (Door A) of the printer.
Remove Toner/Imaging Unit: Remove the toner cartridge and the imaging unit/photoconductor unit to gain access to the interior components.
Locate the Sensor: Locate the faulty 40X7301 photo sensor/retainer assembly, typically found along the paper path where paper jams are detected.
Remove Old Sensor: Carefully unclip or unscrew the old sensor assembly. Be gentle with the wire harness connector.
Install New Sensor:
1. Plug the wiring harness into the new 40X7301 sensor.
2. Secure the sensor into its retainer position, ensuring it clicks or locks into place.
Reassemble: Reinstall the imaging unit and toner cartridge.
Test: Close all covers, plug in the printer, and turn it on to ensure the error message is cleared
