Recommended 6' off the ground plus 16" for the Journeyman = 88"
I created a Wall torsion table
Wall Torsion Table
Use 3/4" plywood with 3 - 2x3 horizontals (layed sideways allowing 2" inset to hide wires. THEN add vertical 2x3 to aligh with vertical studs. Add Sound insulation in the captive squares.
Mount the journeyman in the horizontal to setup amd test.
Drill holes through the 3/4" plywood, through the 2x3 back support and use 4' lag bolts with washers.
Remember to measure diagonals which should be EQUAL! Now is square!!
Hang from the QCW Frame. Make new Brackets.
X rail will fall when powered off (because there is no Brake). So make counterbalance!
Add coiled Router Cable and Dust collection.

Yes, these are constant force springs. The wheels are the spools. There are 2 of them to get to the correct force/pull I wanted. And yes they ride along with the vertical rail. You can experiment with the diameter of the spools so the spindle weight feels neutral when power is off. (larger diameter = less force). https://www.mcmaster.com/9293K25/
There is a piece of metal flashing that keeps chips off of the bottom rail.

Hello Dan, happy to help.
The Onefinity is a very capable machine and we'd recommend going with one of our 2.2kw 220v spindle options if you have 220v power available near your machine.
If not, we'd recommend the 1.5kw 110v 80mm spindle option.
Both of these options will have an ER20 collet supporting 1/2" shank bits if that's what you'd like to use.
The choice between water and air is a rather personal one. I love the water-cooled options since there's nothing like having an enclosed CNC machine running for 10+ hours on a finishing pass of a 3d carve and hearing next to nothing. It gives a man time to think in the shop as a result.
Thus... the 2.2kw 220v water-cooled spindle is what i'd recommend. You'll need a cooling system and for that a simple pond pump and 5-gal bucket is more than sufficient. I do recommend our Superthane tubing. It's not as flexible as the Silicone but not as stiff as typical PU style tubing. It has great bend qualities and is perfect for cable chains if you have one large enough.
We had a light option at one time and this summer we'll be releasing a new version of the lights. The release of the Onefinity Elite's Z20 carriage threw a wrench in our available light option... but we're hard at work designing a new light that'll be the most compatible.
Our spindle kits have the ability to add an optional IoT power strip. This is perfect for hooking up a Fein Turbo 1 shopvac or similar so it'll automatically turn on at 5500rpms. Many folks are using this same IoT power strip to automatically turn on their coolant pump for water-cooled spindles.
Hopefully this will get you a great start towards knowing the options.
