Waesyn is a human from the continent of Taladas, where the world was very different there than it was on Ansalon. After fleeing Taladas for unknown reasons, Waesyn set up shop in Winterholm, running a small store called Venture Gear. He has an interesting take on Kender, since Kender (or as the people of Taladas call them - the Marakai) were quite different - rather than the over the top cheerful disposition of Ansalon's kender, the Marakai of Taladas were bitter and foul tempered, their emotions swaying the other way after the Cataclysm (called The Great Devastation on Taladas).
