One of the core, beloved features of most ARPGs, Dracovix included, is mashing two members of a closed species together to try your luck at getting some epic combinations of rare genes on your next character. This is also the primary way to get more dracovix into the game and into your collection! The dracovix pair being bred must be of opposite sexes, however there are ways in the game for you to get a litter with a pair of same-sex dracovixen. A dracovix's personal gender doesn't have any bearing on its sex and its ability to procreate with the opposite sex.

All dracovix have a set number of breeding slots, starting at 5, and increasing after reaching certain titles. These are used up when a dracovix breeds, regardless of the result of the breeding, even if no viable kits are produced, and a dracovix needs one unused breeding slot to breed again.
Breeding Permissions are the rights to use a dracovix's breeding slot. You can gain these breeding rights by owning the dracovix character being bred, or by owning the "slots", also known as "breeding slots," "breeding permissions," or "slot permissions" from another player's dracovix, given to you by the dracovix owner(s).
When you receive a slot to a starter through a monthly quest or event, your linked proof to the slot permission will be posted in that specific monthly quest or event journal's comment thread.
To give another player a breeding slot to a proven dracovix that you own, fill out the following Breeding Slot Permission Form and post it as a reply to the Breeding Slots comment found in the comments of your dracovix's import! The player who receives the slot will use the link to that comment as their proof of ownership of a slot to your dracovix.
You don't have to fill out the form for slots to your dracovix that you are using yourself.

Full slots are given to the recipient to use and keep the entire litter or split with a different user.
Split slots are given to the recipient to use in a split breeding with the slot's character's owner.

Make sure the dracovix you're planning to breed together have completed their Proofs of Selfdom! You can't breed your dracovix until its Proofs of Selfdom have been approved by an admin, and its Proof of Selfdom has been marked as completed on its import.

The third requirement you need is to draw or write the dracovix being bred going on a Date.
Date artwork needs to depict both dracovix being paired in the breeding and be at minimum, 15 Np worth of Art and/or Literature. featuring both dracovix courting each other.
Date entries can't double as quests, gathering, expeditions, capture art, or Proofs of Self for other dracovix. However, a Date can be used an infinite amount of times to allow the same depicted pairing to breed!
You can include other characters that are not being bred in the date with the pairing, but you must indicate in the description that the date artwork or literature is exclusively for the two dracovix who are being bred.
You can forgo the need for a date artwork by purchasing a TBD for TBD Dragonscales over at the Marketplace, but unlike the infinite breeding uses of a Date, this can only be used once for one breeding!

When you've picked your pairing, have all the requirements, and are ready to submit a breeding request, fill out the following form and make a post in the #breeding channel, then sit tight as an admin will roll the results soon.

After posting a breeding, you must wait 7 days to the minute to post another breeding. You may take part in an unlimited number of split breedings in which another player posts on behalf of you both, using up their weekly breeding post.
