Girth is a marking that conceptually behaves similarly to Collar, but creates a band that goes around the torso between the front and hind legs, and up into the underwings. The minimum width of Girth is a thick band around the midsection. Girth may cut off abruptly at the underwings. Girth does not actually go across the back, but it must wrap around the belly completely.
