Obtaining your own Drac Cavall

There are four ways to obtain your own Drac Cavall.

1. Import one
2. Claim a Donated Genotype
3. Breed one
4. Win one in a Group Raffle or Event

Importing a Drac

Probably the most straight forward way to get a Drac is to just import one from their home land of Zei Lu! However contacting these distant lands and the people who capture these horses is difficult and so imports are only open during certain times of the year. Members can check and see if imports are open by reviewing the groups home page.

Different types of Drac are also available at varying times of the year.

Body Types

To import a drac simply note the GROUP with the following filled in:

Drac name: (Optional, we can Randomize one for you by request)
Gender:
Fire Type: (For more info on this, consult the fire section)
Phenotype/Color: (Please tell us if you want a dominant mutation or not. If you don't specify we will assume you want a heterozygous horse)
Body Type: (Traditional Drac, Woodland, Grassland or Highland Drac. Please let us know if you want feathered or not.)
Age:
Payment type:
Request an Admin: (You may request a particular admin to design your Drac. If you don't have a preference, just delete this line)

When you import has arrived you will be notified and pinged via DA (assuming the Ping system still works) and a direct reply to your import note. Imported Dracs all arrive with an 'Average' pass on their confirmation and an A in front of their ID number.

The following mutations are unavailable for import and are considered restricted / retired:

Import Pricing

Drac Cavalls can be imported via DA points or USD Payments. Alternatively, you can earn imports by earning your existing Drac's potato but if this is your FIRST Drac then look at the options below.

Traditional Body Drac

- 500 pts OR $5 USD = Regular import (Limit 5 additional color genes, Not including Black (Ee) or Agouti (Aa) )
- 800 pts OR $8 USD = Mutation import (1 heterozygous mutation) or import with 5+ color genes not including Black (Ee) or Agouti (Aa)
- 1300 pts OR $13 USD = Import with 2 mutations (1 homozygous Mut or 2 heterozygous Muts)
- 1800 pts OR $18 USD = Import with 2 homozygous mutations

Woodland Body Drac

- 500 pts OR $5 USD = Regular import (Limit 5 additional color genes, Not including Black (Ee) or Agouti (Aa) )
- 800 pts OR $8 USD = Mutation import (1 heterozygous mutation) or import with 5+ color genes not including Black (Ee) or Agouti (Aa)
- 1300 pts OR $13 USD = Import with 2 mutations (1 homozygous Mut or 2 heterozygous Muts)
- 1800 pts OR $18 USD = Import with 2 homozygous mutations

Grassland Body Drac

- 800 pts OR $8 USD = Regular import (Limit 5 additional color genes, Not including Black (Ee) or Agouti (Aa) )
- 1300 pts OR $13 USD = Mutation import (1 heterozygous mutation) or import with 5+ color genes not including Black (Ee) or Agouti (Aa)
- 1800 pts OR $18 USD = Import with 2 mutations (1 homozygous Mut or 2 heterozygous Muts)
- 2500 pts OR $25 USD = Import with 2 homozygous mutations

Highland Body Drac

- 800 pts OR $8 USD = Regular import (Limit 5 additional color genes, Not including Black (Ee) or Agouti (Aa) )
- 1300 pts OR $13 USD = Mutation import (1 heterozygous mutation) or import with 5+ color genes not including Black (Ee) or Agouti (Aa)

- 2500 pts OR $25 USD = Import with 2 homozygous mutations

Claim a Donated Genotype

Sometimes when our member breed their Dracs, they don't get quite what they were hoping for. In these cases, they have the option of donating the genotype to the group for new members to adopt! These Dracs come with an already assigned ID as well as in game parents.

This is an only and option for new members who do not have a Drac yet!! Genotypes are first come, first serve so if you see something you like, please leave a comment on the DA journal to claim it.

Breeding your Drac

Find a boy, find a girl and get to the love makin' ;D

Search the current list of dracs and see if an owner will be willing to split a clutch with you! Most people will for some art or maybe a few spare points.

Group Raffles and Events

Wild Drac Encounter Events

Members participating in the Forbidden Zone Exploration Event have the chance to encounter wild Dracs as they explore these hostile lands! These Cavalls vary in color, type and personality and may be easy or difficult to capture. Encountering these Drac's is a random event but should a member see a particular animal they want to capture, they can review their design to see where they might find them. Last known locations for these specific Dracs are logged by fellow adventurers!

Wild Dracs are tricky and have their own unique personalities. These must be kept in mind when looking for them or considering them for your stable. Their personalities will also determine how they behave when you meet them. Will they happily approach and ask for snacks or will they try and take a bite out of your thigh?

Fostering a Drac

Foster Dracs are individuals whom have been surrendered to the official Drac Organization on Zei Lu. These Dracs often have mental or physical issues that prevent them from being homed with just anyone. These are the misfits!

These dracs will be held by the organization until a suitable home can be found for these forgotten Dracs.

How does this work?

Foster Dracs will be uploaded at random intervals and will be auctioned away in an Art Raffle sort of fashion. Each Drac will have it's own story explaining its troubles and how they got to be the way they are. When they are submitted ANYONE can foster them! You don't have to worry about someone else claiming said Drac either as any member may draw/ work with the drac at any time. Remember to consider the listed issues the Drac has when you draw them. It wouldn't make any sense to work on teaching a Drac to stand for the farrier when they are already good at doing so.

Foster Dracs don't have a time limit when they are posted. However, after the first piece of art work or literature is posted by a member of there is generally a 1-2 month time limit to get your own 'bid' in. Once that time is up, every member that drew that Drac will be put into a raffle to see who wins it!

Naturally, someone who works with the drac more will have a higher chance of winning them. After all we don't want these poor broken souls going to just anyone.

How much do my drawings count for?

The group cares more about the quality of an image than a large number of them. We also LOVE to read your stories of how you earn the Drac's trust and work past their disabilities. In short, quality over quantity.

Quirk System

You'll notice that there is a list of 'Quirks' in the description of each Foster Drac. The problems listed will be written out clearly with a certain number of red bullets beside them. The number of bullets represents how severe the problem is but don't worry, there never be more than 6.

Each time someone draws a picture of horse working on one of these problems one of these bullets will turn green to indicate their progress. When the deadline comes for the Drac rehomed they may come to you 100% cured or with some lingering issues.

So what happens if two people draw the same fear being conquered and there is only one?

Sadly nothing extra besides the extra potato they will earn. Communicate with your fellow members to make sure you don't do the same thing! Or just pick a quirk that is particularly bad XD .
