Spot a stunning wild Drac but failed to catch it? Love the coloration or confirmation of a passing beast but not want to deal with the attitude? Well, why not breed to them instead!?
As the Forbidden Zone becomes more and more understood the patterns of wild herds and their various members are slowly becoming known. Whether its a striking stallion or elusive mare, players will now have the option to try and bring some of their bloodline into their own stables.
ALL submissions to track and breed to wild Dracs must meet the following requirements:
1. Literature pieces must be a minimum of 400 words
2. Images should be at least a partial body, colored
Players wishing to breed to a wild stallion must first pick a mare they wish to cross with him. Once they have a mare in mind they must next find the stallion's established territory. Mares will have to be released within this defined territory in order to encounter the stallion. Once they do, they’ll be covered by him before they will have to be retrieved by the player.
After this point the pregnancy will continue almost like a breeding note. Once the mare is found players receive their breeding results in their comment. The player is welcome to write about waiting for the eggs to be laid and hatched but it's optional. From this point the foals can be designed and uploaded.
Coverings can fail or the mare may not encounter the target stallion at all. In which case players may choose to leave her there a little longer. HOWEVER, each time they opt to leave the mare, she runs the chance of being covered by a different stallion. This imposter danger will be listed as a percentage risk somewhere in the results comment so they may choose to leave her again or not.
If they fail to find the stallion, players may use the tracking option used for capturing them! Only when they encounter the stallion, they may choose to release their mare instead. This sort of encounter guarantees a covering by the stallion.

Locate the stallions territory (Will require explorer to be on the correct launch point path. Check wild dracs location in their info)
If not, 1 submission will be required to reroute them to the correct area.
If explorer is in the right area, 1 submission is required to confirm this is the stallions turf. This may include the explorer actively searching for drac signs, tracking hoofprints or recalling seeing the stallion some days prior. Players may submit multiple pieces to confirm this is the right territory, if they do so admins will include in their comment if they're on the right track or not. This is important to keep your mare from being bred by an imposter! But if you're a gambler, only 1 submission is required.
1 submission detailing the release of the mare. Do you leave any tack on her? Give her a pep talk? What does your explorer do?
1 submission detailing relocating / recapturing your mare.
Where do you find her? Do you leave her an offering to lure her back out? How long do you leave her to roam the stallions turf?
When relocated admins will include in their comment if she’s pregnant or not. If she is, the comment will include a breeding note like format with number of eggs and genos.
Players wishing to breed to a wild mare will find that it is more difficult. Mares may already be a part of a herd and guarded by a stallion, obviouly making things a little more dicey. While plenty of Drac mares roam alone or in small bachelorette groups you may also run into the problem that she's already pregnant or tending a nest. Assuming that your handsome stud manages to woo his lady love, players will also be faced with later tracking down the mares nest to retrieve the eggs.
Because of this, players actually have two options when it comes to wild mares.
Players may use their chosen stallion to try and sire some eggs
Players can simply raid an existing nest of their desired mare

1 submission detailing the release of the stallion.
1 submission detailing recapturing your stallion/ beginning your hunt for the nest.
The number of submissions required to locate the nest will depend on the mare's capture difficulty. Docile mares will require 1, Timid will require 2 and Formidable will require 3.
Number of eggs in the clutch will be RNG’d by the commenting mod and again, depending on the mares difficulty will determine how many eggs you manage to steal before she catches you.
Docile mares will have a lowered guard so players will snatch most of clutch. Timid mares are more alert and players will walk away with a least an egg or two depending on the number laid. Formidable mares on are high alert and are quick to catch intruders. Players will get at least one egg.
An alternative to using your own stallion is to simply steal an egg from your target mares existing nest. This is, of course, assuming she has one. In order to find out, players will have to follow the following guide.:
Locate the mares territory (Will require explorer to be on the correct launch point path. Check wild dracs location in their info). If not, 1 submission will be required to reroute them to the correct area.
Track the mare
To track a Docile Drac, players will only have to submit one piece detailing how they follow its trail.
Timid Dracs are a little more difficult to track. Timid Dracs require 2 tracking submissions in order for players to find them.
Formidable Dracs, the most difficult, require 3 submissions to locate.
