Teaching Philosophy as a Beginner Teacher

When I was not yet in my teacher internship journey, I began to wonder how I would teach my students. Is it possible for me to be an effective teacher? These are the most common questions I have. These are because I wanted to be an effective teacher for my students, so they could learn new things and broaden their mathematical skills.

My teaching philosophy is based on the fundamental premise that learners learn on their own; all they need are opportunities to grow and develop to their full potential. In my opinion, allowing students to learn independently can help them assess their understanding of specific concepts. I believe that as teachers, we need to assist them in developing their talents because if we constantly encourage children to rely on us, they will lack a sense of authority over their learning. The progressive release of responsibility technique is an effective strategy for shifting classroom education from teacher-centered collaboration and independent practice to student-centered collaboration and independent practice. While students are solely responsible for the output, professors provide feedback, assess, and judge students' knowledge levels. The teacher must comment on how well students analyze, evaluate, and change plans to complete tasks and meet goals; take responsibility for their behavior; and follow classroom instructions without being monitored. So, what should I do to incorporate this philosophy into my teaching? I should set targets and an objective and engage in interactive education. . In the future, I hope to be able to clear up misconceptions and assign differentiated tasks to students. As a teacher, I would model positive behavior for them by setting a good example. Teachers should respond to students' responses with flexibility and encourage students to self-monitor. I believe that incorporating independent learning abilities into my future classroom is critical because independent learning helps students improve their academic performance, motivation, confidence, and self-esteem. Furthermore, I am convinced that the development of critical thinking skills is at the heart of what we're doing in academic achievement. I am committed to giving students the tools they need to acknowledge their significance, evaluate information and situational factors, and solve problems.

In my opinion, the reasons that I have given for selecting the Teaching philosophy are essential because each justification is based on providing the best learning experience for the students. Students could benefit from philosophy instruction because they will be the primary discoverers of their learning. However, as a future educator, I believe that assisting them in clearing misconceptions and leveraging their understanding is critical.
