Practice teaching is the most difficult or necessary thing a future teacher will do or face. As a future teacher who has participated in practice teaching, I must say that it taught me a lot. My internship journey was teaching students and creating and completing paperwork, from printing modules to sorting and stapling them. My internship experience did not end with the completion of modules and papers. The most exciting aspect of my internship was sharing my various teaching styles and strategies. To capture the students' eyes and minds, I used a PowerPoint presentation as an ICT tool and IMs in my demonstration. I also allowed them to learn in their native language. I had experience with online and face-to-face setup during my internship. Online teaching and learning were difficult due to the poor internet connection. An unstable network affects both the teacher and the learner, but we don't see it as a hindrance to the teaching-learning process. The actual teaching was not difficult because we were in a face-to-face setting where we saw each other in the same environment. Some students, however, are slow learners and find it hard to write and read simple text; they are taking their time learning it, possibly due to a lack of fundamental knowledge. As a teacher, I am responsible for eradicating my students' ignorance and providing them with the knowledge they deserve. To be an effective teacher, I used correct teaching pedagogy so students could effortlessly learn the topic. I immersed myself in an in-depth reading of the subject matter to better understand what I was teaching and how I could teach it. I've also researched so that I can provide my students with a diverse set of skills.
Overall, my teaching internship was beneficial because it helped me hone my skills and abilities as a future elementary teacher. I discovered that being a teacher is a difficult job that requires passion and determination to provide students with the knowledge they deserve. I also learned that it is critical that we thoroughly understand the topic assigned to us to avoid confusion. I must continue to learn as a future teacher because I do not know everything. That is why research is essential to inform and educate us while supplementing our existing knowledge
